Who is the Jefferson Choral Society?
The Jefferson Choral Society (JCS) is the longest-enduring and largest volunteer adult choir in Central Virginia, providing the greater Lynchburg area with a variety of performances including choral masterworks, Broadway show tunes, folk songs, popular music, gospel music, and music from nations around the world.
The JCS typically performs three major concerts each year - at Christmastime, in the mid-winter, and in the spring - as well as an annual benefit concert at the National D-Day Memorial.

Membership in the Jefferson Choral Society is open to anyone high school age and up with experience in choral music. We require an audition with the Music Director, attendance at weekly Monday evening rehearsals, and paying membership dues.
We rehearse every Monday evening from 7 to 9 pm, at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, 21206 Timberlake Road, Lynchburg, VA 24502.
